go in display setting
vista has all d options of windows xp plus two more
-->run in 256 colors
-->run in 640*480 resolution
-->disable visual themes
-->disable deskstop composition
-->disable display scaling on High DPIS setting
-->privelege level-->run program as an ADMINISTRATOR
